e1d664da63 GtkMenu: Fix positioning when attached to offscreen windows
In order to do that, we have to make gdk_window_is_impl_offscreen ()
accessible from GTK via GdkPrivateVTable.

6982415c9f gdk_display_get_monitor_at_window: Check for offscreen windows
And get the embedder before continuing, as the backend-specific
get_monitor_at_window () only knows about its own windows.

In order to check for offscreen windows, we introduce a new function
gdk_window_is_impl_offscreen (). Unlike gdk_window_is_offscreen (),
it doesn't rely on the window_type field, but actually checks whether
GDK_WINDOW_IMPL_GET_CLASS (window->impl) is GdkOffscreenWindow.

See previous commit for informations.

5aaa373b70 Revert "wayland: Add support for gtk_surface1_titlebar_gesture()"
This reverts commit 45ba6e9329.

This caused regressions in libhandy-using applications.

45ba6e9329 wayland: Add support for gtk_surface1_titlebar_gesture()
This adds a private GDK API that GTK calls using GDK_PRIVATE_CALL(). It
is more or less a copy of the GdkSurface::titlebar_gesture() API, and
achieves the same. If the backend or compositor doesn't support titlebar
gestures, the existing path is used as a fallback.

ef67eb0b3c gdk: backport GdkProfiler
This is a backport of the GdkProfiler from master. It does not include
the pixel bandwidth numbers that come from gdkdrawcontext.c since there
does not seem to be an analog in 3.x.

Additionally, this implements the recent changes for SYsprof's D-Bus
profiler API which adds a Capabilities property and an options hash-table
to the D-Bus interface for forward portability.

2d3936cbe6 Centralize DESKTOP_STARTUP/AUTOSTART_ID handling
Add private API to GDK to move these variables from the environment into
static scope. Also move the DESKTOP_STARTUP_ID validation here to reduce
code duplication.

Use constructors to read them as early as possible; however, do not
unset them until first requested. This avoids breaking gnome-shell and
gnome-settings-daemon, which want to use the DESKTOP_AUTOSTART_ID in
their own gnome-session clients.

9b3c745fc4 gdk: Make gdk_window_move_to_rect public
This is the API used by GtkMenu to properly position menus on the screen
without requiring GTK to query the menu window's position or the work
area of where the window is positioned. It makes it possible to position
popup windows properly when using Wayland.

Make this API available to external users so custom popup windows can be
positioned properly as well.

eedbec2066 Make global GDK libgtk_only functions more private
The current way of exposing GDK API that should be considered internal
to GTK+ is to append a 'libgtk_only' suffix to the function name; this
is not really safe.

GLib has been using a slightly different approach: a private table of
function pointers, and a macro that allows accessing the desired symbol
inside that vtable.

We can copy the approach, and deprecate the 'libgtk_only' symbols in
lieu of outright removal.
